Douglas Fir

In addition to its pinkish-brown hue and rich wood grain, Douglas Fir (BC Fir) is renowned for its structural and aesthetic qualities. Native to western North America, it is a wood species prized for mechanical performance superior to that of other softwoods.

The right wood finish for your décor

Rough-sawn

What's included

Technical

Custom timber frames include the preparation of solid wood pieces to your project’s dimensions. Joints are cut, drilled and prepared in our shop for easier installation.

Staining

Factory staining is included when this option is added to the project. Visible pieces can be finished before delivery for a more uniform appearance.

Advice & Plans

Project analysis and technical support are included. Shop drawings are used to validate dimensions, joinery and the preparation of each piece.
