Our wood species

Douglas Fir

Beyond its pinkish-brown hue and rich grain, Douglas Fir (BC Fir) is known for its structural and aesthetic qualities. Native to western North America, it is a sought-after species for mechanical performance superior to that of other softwoods.

The right wood finish for your project

The finish shapes the look, texture and final style of your project. Depending on the effect you want, the wood can keep a rougher, natural look or be planed for a smoother, more refined surface.

Smooth

A smooth finish showcases the wood with a soft, even and refined surface. It is perfect for cleaner, contemporary or high-end spaces where an elegant, understated finish is wanted.

Textured

A textured finish adds depth and relief to the wood for a livelier, bolder effect. It brings character to walls, ceilings and decorative elements while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
